What data do we collect?

We only collect the data you provide to us voluntarily, mainly through:

• the contact form and quotation requests: surname, first name, job title, company, e-mail, telephone, the content of your message;
• the creation of a customer account: business contact details and login credentials;
• newsletter sign-up: e-mail address.
• Mandatory fields are indicated on each form. You are free not to complete them, but some information is essential for us to act on your request.

Who receives the data

Your data is intended for the internal departments of VIKAT EKINOX. It may be passed on to our technical providers (hosting provider, website development provider) acting as processors, and only to the extent necessary for their assignments. We neither sell nor rent your data to third parties.

Retention periods

Customer data: for the whole duration of the business relationship, then for the statutory retention periods (accounting and tax).

Prospect data (contact or quotation requests with no follow-up): 3 years from the last contact.

Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Transfers outside the European Union

Your data is hosted in France (Paris) and is not transferred outside the European Union.

Your rights

Audience measurement

This website uses Matomo, an audience measurement tool hosted on our own servers. The data collected is used solely to understand how the site is consulted and to improve it. It is never passed on to third parties and is not cross-referenced with any other processing.

This measurement is configured in line with the exemption criteria set out by the French data protection authority: your IP address is anonymised before any storage (the last two bytes are masked), your browsing is not tracked across other websites, and geolocation is derived from the already anonymised address. A measurement cookie lasting 13 months is stored in your browser; visit data is kept for 25 months at most. Your browser's « Do Not Track » signal is honoured.
